Although the problem is NOT YET fully resolved this archive has benifitted quite substantially recently- which I now learn is a direct snub to him. I still have available the 2 'very embarrassing' emails for publication, as and when needed - which a legal mind would link to possible complicity with some of the addressees

If anyone has noticed reduced ebay activity from both our relevant ebay 'handles' - mine is through choice and perhaps there is an ' obvious assumption' to be made from that.

Update: 19June. Received 2 rather stupid and self incriminating emails written by Stone and forwarded to me. Interestingly, one of the addressees is is a certain Peter_ Spicer and a further Peter J Antiques
Having had no denials or further comments on what I've written below - other than the impressive cash donation in the letter of course I will leave the facts to speak for themselves - until such time as it becomes necessary or useful to publish the above mentioned 2 emails. They WILL cause embarrassment!
All this could have been resolved with a written apology and retraction of the ridicule
This 'pile' of 700 quality photo sheets containing in excess of 1500 images has today been received - having been sent with altruistic rather than mischievious intent in mind. I recognise many of the images- I should do, they were FIRST published on the Two Hoots site (and ebay of course) and NOT taxidermy4cash from where they have been COPIED - Touche with interest, perhaps!
Nevertheless it is a fantastic gesture and as there is quite a lot of new information to me - very welcome
CORRECTION: Not wishing to give out inaccurate information I have spent 6 hours ' weeding' the "pile". I have no interest in Whale Hunting ( so barbaric), or indeed of images of hunters standing over their kills . Duplicate and poor - delibarately distorted images of no use either so the total sheets end up at 343 with 877 separate refs' (good job I've got a full set of digits to count on, eh!). All the unwanted stuff has been dumped - which by the way - had been the fate of ALL of it before being rescued!
Someone else dis-enchanted with the subject it seems!
A small crumb of comfort to the photographer of this material , in particular the Hutchings section where the 'detailed' images are good quality and even more useful when used in conjunction with Mr Morris's book on the Hutchings family.
So,103 completely new images to my files , mostly label variants and some documents I missed on ebay - most satisfactory!

Further to that - a phone threat (taken seriously by the police) has resulted in more information changing hands - and it's all in writing. As YOU have declared yourself to be a "huntin', shootin' fishin" type; it is on record - which..............
This 'Little Gem', actually Little Grebe is the case which features in the email below. On the taxidermy4cash website, Homepage, Victorian Taxidermy it is claimed to be by "Quatremain".I am convinced, as are others that the author is Darren Stone or one of his acolytes. INTERESTING email: REMEMBER this, STONE VALUED THE CASE AT £1000-and raised the bidding to £975! Obviously with the intent NOT to actually make the purchase.
HE has claimed ,in his wisdom? that it is a named piece by Quatremain, akin to or even BETTER than Spicer ( so note the 'crap' above - contrary or just plain stupid ?)- I make no such claim - even though I actually own it.( see also my forsales1, r/h column) You can also see a character flaw in this email - readiness to defame others and pass the buck - typical school "bully" springs to mind. Should anyone else require a valuation - I would strongly recommend you get it in writing and independently checked.
Defamation is hard to prove, and costly. Responses from the agencies I informed show that because of Data protection law I cannot be given the answers direct - they will however, co-operate with any police enquiry on the matter as they take these complaints seriously- it is after all - IDENTITY FRAUD
It seems to be a great deal more serious under AMERICAN LAW
So Mr Stone, it might be worth reflecting on how this is all escalating. I,personally, DO NOT want to be constantly replying in kind to your games - you are a blemish on this website and the whole taxidermy subject and are causing me a distraction when I could be enjoying myself far more pleasantly on woodland walks with the rescued animals. These few clues, for example, may convince you that perhaps you aren't so popular as you think and are yourself viewed with disdain (especially within your group of 6 +2 is it?)

NOTE: Many of you may be puzzling as to why I have put all this in the open, the answer is simple. Stone is anonymous and so far 'his crimes'(copyright theft, defamation, suspicious ebay activities to name a few) have Not Yet occured in Cornwall. I would have been happy to allow the ridicule of me and my work to ride - each is entitled to an opinion. Stone's method is snide and underhand through a possible 3rd party.
This is the importance of a post or Zip code (in the USA). With that I can present the facts to the relevant police department or small claims court for compensation.
Someone sent me the shitty email above - among others- it needs sorting!
It beggars the question, why so much 'obfuscation' just to be a popular site - perhaps there is something far more sinister afoot?
