THE KITCHEN DISPLAY
Correctly laid out and spaced on a uncluttered wall - these cases would give pleasure for many years!

This complete series of 30 cases - not all showing - £6995

Two birds on left by Charles Kirk of Glasgow(pre 1922) added to my singing male display- about to be Stuka'd!
Having recent business with a relative of
"the eminent naturalist" (Kirk)
and useful information changing hands in both directions - this simple scene is now giving enhanced and appropriate pleasure - perhaps in Scotland too?

A little clearer!

Two images from 'Makatsch' showing 'straight legged' and unusual stances of the Little Auk. Shown only as the image triggered a reminder of a visit made by a 'Guild of Taxidermists' expert? who was quick to point out that the leg position on a mount I'd recently completed was wrong! Small bird - small beer I suppose!

'The kitchen display' - many cases like this have turned up some with spurious labels and some with other peoples work within. If you have a similiar case and are unsure about it please send a photo or scanned image - I have a photo record of every one completed HERE! 6 cases on the right are 'case ups': Little Bittern 1866, Dipper 1909, Rosy Pastor, Wallcreeper 1864 etc etc.

.
22/jan. To highlight the above point this rather nice adult specimen (after adjustments!)- little Auk - Summer - just obtained from the Midlands. No indication of the Taxidermist but I am pleased to feature it among the Kitchen display which already shows the winter plumage on a locally found casualty. One or the other can be available.
Redpoll variants-1997 (K E ). Was the centre piece of the display until the Woodcocks pleased me more - £295
